Core Value Applications

The Internet of Things (IoT) enables the integration of multiple elements, including people and objects, under the "6A" principles of anytime, anywhere, any path/network, any service/business, anything/device, and anyone. This integration is achieved through the "6C" principles of convergence, content, collections, computing, communication, and connectivity. It forms an organically interconnected system centered around intelligence, enhancing interaction and communication among people, objects, and the environment. Through the interconnection of everything, data is freely shared, and value is distributed on-demand, leading to more convenient information communication, higher work efficiency, lower operating costs, increased creative labor, and enhanced living experiences.

1. Convergence

One of the most important concepts, the IoT is a comprehensive "Internet+" approach that extends and expands the traditional internet, telecommunications networks, broadcasting and television networks, and sensor networks. It tightly connects people and objects, forming a vast and boundless intelligent space. It also involves the integration of multidisciplinary scientific and technological fields, including information perception, communication, intelligent information processing, and information application. Convergence is achieved through device integration, network integration, platform integration, and technological integration, enabling service, business, and market integration.

2. Ubiquity

The development of the IoT results in a network that covers everything in the world, characterized by its ubiquity and all-encompassing nature under the "6A" principles. Through seamless communication, it facilitates on-demand information acquisition, transmission, processing, and application among people, people and things, and things themselves. This is the ubiquity of the IoT. Based on its ubiquitous nature, it can be referred to as the Ubiquitous Network.

3. Innovation

The IoT represents three revolutionary changes built upon the foundation of the traditional internet. These changes, combined with the continuous innovation in intelligent information acquisition, processing, and the emergence of countless IoT applications, form the solid cornerstone of IoT. The core concepts of the IoT lie in intelligence and innovation, making it the "third wave of information technology" in the world.

Due to its "ICT genes," ubiquitous nature, and intelligent capabilities, the IoT has a wide range of applications in various civilian and military fields, including smart transportation, intelligent logistics, smart homes, smart grids, smart agriculture, urban management, smart energy, smart healthcare, smart buildings, smart manufacturing, environmental monitoring, disaster prevention and mitigation, healthcare, security, industrial monitoring, national defense, and military applications.
